Dr. Juno ChunLin Ju, Chair of Department of Counseling and I/O Psychology, signed the Cooperative Education and Academia-Industry Cooperation Agreement with Ms. Chang, ChunHwa, Director of TaoYuan Lifeline Association, on Sunday December 17, 2017 at J504 in MCU JiHer Campus. The event drew of students of the Master’s Program in attendance. DCIOP will enhance competitive advantage by developing broad psychology collaboration in range with TYLA.
Department Chair Dr. Ju stated the multi-dimensional cooperation between two sides will spread from teaching, learning, training, to research. TYLA will accept practicum for one-semester and one-year period training for graduate students, and one- to two-month summer practicum programs for undergraduate students. This practicum training program at TYLA will include training in Employee Assistance Programs which stands out DCIOP’s master program the first of its kind. Dr. Ju added, we are excited about this agreement. We built a strong relationship with the Association and we have confidence in the projects and our relationship moving forward.
Up to the present, DCIOP had formed bonds for Master's Program practicum with TaoYuan Psychiatric Center, Taipei Prison, TianJin Mental Health Center in China, TaoYuan Municipal Shou-Shan Senior High School, and Guei Shan Junior High School, more connections are anticipating, Dr. Ju suggested.
